Taking a turn a little too tight can and will cause damage.
This fender skirt got hit and did more damage that can be seen on the surface.
Not only were the doors scratched, but they were also bent.
Nothing that we couldn't handle however.
Even with the radical paint scheme, we were able to get her straightened out.
We made a happy camper out of our customer.
Until he returned anyway.
This time a turn was taken too sharp and sideswiped another coach.
The doors as well as the side wall were all damaged.
It was easy to see that was quite a bit of body and paint damage.
We also knew that the damage went deeper as well.
We just couldn't tell how much deeper until we were able to disassemble.
We took our best guess and started the process.
We had to remove 2 of the 4 slideouts in order to properly repair the wall.
Both slides proved to have their difficulties.
But we got them out.
After peeling the wall off, we were able to see that the aluminum studs and the lower rail were all damaged.
We repaired and replaced what was necessary and then installed new insulation.
We were able to peel the whole skin off, so we opted to repair that and reinstall it.
Once again, our customer was a happy camper.
Both slideouts reinstalled, working properly, and lined up. Wall Skin lined up and reinstalled. Body and paint repaired and refinished.
Looks great and eager for her next trip.
Looking good. Fresh!
